Backup Status in DB13 is showing red colour
Hi all,
While i am checking the last month's db status in DB13, it is showing red colour. But at that time we had the backup successfully completed. After 1 month, while checking only i came to see the status is in red colour.
Can any one help me why it is showing in red colour?

Error during System Copy at Phase: Adjust Name Table.
Dear All,
OS: MS Windows 2008 R2
SAP ERP6.0 EhP-7
DB: SAP Sybase ASE 15.7
We are doing system copy, exported all the files from Source to Target.
When importing source exports at Target during system copy, we got an error at phase: Adjust Name Table.
Im using latest SWPM, upgraded kernel to latest, applied R3trans, R3load & db libraries, still error remain the same.
For your reference, please see below pic & attached the log files for further.
Please help me to resolve the issue ASAP.

Minimum DB2 version requirement for SAP ERP 6.0 EHP 7 SP5 Upgrade
Hello,
We are upgrading our ERP system from ERP 6.0 to SAP ERP 6.0 EHP 7 SP5.
Our Operating system is AIX 7.1 and Database is DB2 9.7 FP 5.
We have generated stack file via MOPZ by selecting Enhancement Package option with target release of EHP7 for SAP ERP 6.0 SP5.
The reason for selecting EHP7 for SAP ERP 6.0 SP5
We learnt from OSS note 1737650 that Enhancement Package 7 for SAP ERP 6.0 SP Stack 05 is based on SAP NetWeaver 7.40 Support Package Stack 07 (06/2014).
Also according to PAM for NW 7.4 (page 3), for any upgrade to NW 7.4 SP 08 and above i.e. Enhancement Package 7 for SAP ERP 6.0 SP Stack 06 and above would require DB2 version 10.5.
By considering above we choose SAP ERP 6.0 EHP 7 SP5 as our target release as it would not arise the need to upgrade our Database to DB2 10.5 and we can continue with our current DB2 version i.e. DB 9.7.
The Issue
Today when we started the upgrade from SUM tool, the upgrade process had stopped during Extraction roadmap phase with the below reason.
"ERROR: DB version 09.07.0005 out of range (too low) Upgrade the database system at least to version 10.05.0000"
The Question
1. Can someone shed some light why the upgrade process still demanding to upgrade DB2 to 10.5 despite the facts provided in OSS note 1737650 and PAM for NW 7.4 doesn't say that the DB2 version ahs to be 10.5.
2. Also is there any way by which we can skip this error and continue with our Upgrade.

SUM cannot connect to oracle, SAP runs already with ssfs !?

we wanted upgrade ECC 6.0 to EHP 6 on Oracle 11.2.0.4 / Linux.
SAP running on ssfs authentication.
SAP System starts with ssfs in dev_w7 trace:

I'm updating ERP 6 EHP 7 to SPS 7. In the phase MAIN_SWITCH/SUBMOD_SWITCH_KERNEL/ENVFILES, I'm getting the following error:

Issue with 'Text with Tabs' After Upgrade
Hi All,
Users are trying to export data which contain unicode data (eng+japanese) using 'Text with Tabs' Option.
But the data gets scrambled. All Japanese characters are replaced by # or junk characters. The export was fine before upgrade.
Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Component SP level from XML differs from SP level in source system
Hi all,
I'm installing Simple Finance (SAP SFINANCIALS 1.0 add-on) on my ERP system with HANA database. I created a stack xml file using MOPZ on SolMan. I am now running SUM to perform the install and I am getting the following error:
ERROR: The stack XML file "/usr/sap/trans/SFIN/SMSDXML_ERP_20150325164058.106.xml" does not fit the current system:
Component UIEAAP01 release 100 SP level 0002 from XML differs from 0003 in source system!
Component UIX01EAP release 100 SP level 0002 from XML differs from 0003 in source system!
Component UIX01HCM release 100 SP level 0002 from XML differs from 0003 in source system!
I did some checks and found that the version of these 3 components is 0002 in all these places:
- In LMDB on SolMan
- In SLD of the same SolMan
- In SPAM of the managed system
- In System -> Status of the managed system
- In table E070A of the managed system
So I was wondering where SUM gets the information that these components have version 0003 in the source system? Then, eventually, I found that in the managed system, in table CVERS, the components have version 0003:

SAP FTP Binary Does not work after EHP 7 Upgrade
Hi All,
Since EHP 7, if I try to execute an external command through sm49, which has a shell script for ftp connection and fetching files, the 'binary' command after ftp connection is not working.
Result? I'm fetching corrupted files once in a while. The same was fine before the upgrade. The script runs fine at OS level. We are using AIX.
Did anyone see this issue before? Is there a solution?
Please help, it's quite urgent.

I am getting this error upon REX addon upgrade in a system.

The system has found a number of open data extraction request. These should be processed before starting the object import process, as changes to DDIC structures could prevent data extraction request from being read after the import, thus causing them to terminate. You can find more information about this problem in the SAP Notes 1081287, 1083709 and 328181.
Call the customizing cockpit data extraction transaction and process all open extraction request.
What do I need to do? sap note 1081287 says we need to clear all queues in smq1. How to do that?
What might be the possible cause if we clear queues in SMQ1?

ECC upgrade stuck in pre-processing phase
Hi All,
Small query on SAP upgrade pre-processing phase.
Below are my queries :-
1. DBclone phase in pre-processing got successful
2.while trying to perform updatestats in the tables copied by from original schema owner to shadow schema owner it was throwing error i accepted error here.
3. In next phase also i got error....
In log file it was throwing error for this piece of command GRANT ALL ON SAPSR3."SEOFRIENDS~" TO SAPECCSHD
When i checked this SEOFRIENDS table in SAPECCSHD it was not visbile for desc command , but for the rest of the tables it is showing in shadow schema .
So SEOFRIENDS table is not copied DBCLONE phase properly to shadow schema. In this case if i need to copy manually this table to shadow schema do i need to copy data as well as or structure.
Did any one faced this issue previously.

SUM - Severe error occurred in phase SYIDUP_CHECK/READCVERS_DUMP!

We are trying to run SUM to fix inconsistencies in the product version. SUM is running on AS400 and db4
We generated the stack_for_cisi file in Solution Manager, and started the SUM process with it. Once we get to the phase 5.4 Checks the following error occurs:
Checking the SQLSTMTSTD.OUT file, points to a db connect failure:
CVERSDUMP.TMP shows the following:
If i run this command from the command line, I get the same error, however, if i change the ../var to /usr/sap/NP3/SUM/abap/var/CVERSDUMP.TQL there is no problem, and the command finishes:
Which gives the following output in CVERSDUMP.TMP:

In the downtime phase MAIN_NEWBAS/SUBMOD_UPSTAT/TR_PATCH_STATUS_UPGRADE! i got the error:
